Hi! I was working in Jasper, Alberta for the summer when I first heard your music...I was walking home after a busy day at work, with a load of groceries, and I heard this beautiful, clear music float across the street to me. Normally, I would have continued, but your music instantly attracted me, and I ended up sitting down for the next 1.5 hours for one of the best live performances I've ever had the chance to hear! Your voice, music, and personality are one of a kind, and I'm so happy you stopped in little Jasper. I have listened to your music while hiking mountains, while waiting for a bus, and while preparing for an exam. I have shared your music now with my friends, and now you have some more happy fans! lol, Good luck with your future tours :0)

Sheena I met you at your cd release party with my friend jenny. I bought 2 of you cds, one I gave to my sister who was going through a divorce at the time. She puts you cd on when she wants to relax and it makes her feel so good. We wanted to come see you in concert somewhere in bc, but I resently had another baby when you were close enough to see. We will be coming to see you, please come back to bc. We will make it a special shenna grobb bonding trip. Anyways, kep up the good work and I;ll be the first to buy your next cd

Dear Sheena, Thank-you for your beautiful voice and writing. It has been significant in the soundtrack of my life over the last year. If you ever need a clarinetist/bass clarinetist for one of your albums or concerts, I'd love to play for you. I am currently in Manhattan but come back to Canada often. You can find me on Facebook (I am one of Erika Donald's friends - who introduced me to you). All the best! Christine

Once in a while, you get this feeling that something wants to come out from deep inside yourself. When you were on the stage, I made certain to listen to 3 things. The music, the lyrics and the energy emitted by you, your presence, your emotions, your genuineness (I guess you don't really listen to that list one...). Your performance seemed to speak to me quite loudly. I was blown away at your completeness as an artist and your ability to convey strong points that seemed directed to each individual in the crowd. As i had mentioned, sometimes you get that feeling that you need to let something out. After I left the Slice, I spent hours sitting at home writing. Your show was a breath of fresh air in this culturally-starved town. If all it took to recharge my creative batteries was one of your visits, I can't wait to see how moving back home to Winnipeg will motivate me. Merci beaucoup for an amazing evening last night and I hope this wasn't too personal for a public comments page.

In a vain attempt to finish a book and get some delicious dinner in the course of a supposed hour or maybe two at best, i ended up spending the better part of 4 bittersweet hours at The Slice, at my favourite eatery/pub/entertainment outlet in the region of Southern Alberta (Lethbridge if you're ever there); a mere 30 pages remained which i was direly focused to get through in said evening, only to be surprisingly taken by the voice, soul, and strangely familiar aura of the very talented Sheena Grobb. In a style of music i'm not particularly normally enthralled with, i was broadsided in the ego by a beauty hardly describable through our primitive diction.

Sheena amazes with her ability to illustrate an emotion/story/whatever she wants into splendorous melody and verve. Her innate connection with the universal vibe could only be expressed poorly at best by the most true, virtuous, and eloquent of Taoists.....truly something that can only be experienced live.......she grasps at true beauty as a sunflower faithfully and unconsciously bends towards the sun.
